Mandi Jakubowski started working in 911 Services in 2001. She was first an EMT-I and then a firefighter. Working in the Baptist Health System in the Emergency Room and teaching through AACOG and the Violent Crimes against Women course.
She furthered he studies in Law Enforcement first working for the City of Bastrop and then contracting through MedTrust LLC with their government Contracts. She continued educating the community and offered CPR/ First Aid Classes even back then.
Mandi then came to Guadalupe County and remained there for 9 years. Working as a Adult Detention Officer, Classification specialist and a trainer. Teaching a variety of TCOLE classes to include Cultural Diversity, Ethics, Spanish for Law Enforcement, and other topics. The last 4 years of her career she served as a Juvenile Probation Officer, and Board member for the Texas Community Service Association.
Mandi leaves Guadalupe County to focus her time on educating the community on the importance of being preparing for an emergency and giving confidence to those who may experience stressful and life changing situations.
The Jakubowski’s reside in New Braunfels with their two young children. Lone Star Safety and Training is women owned and locally operated. Mrs. Jakubowski graduated from Smithson Valley High School, and with honors from Texas State University with a AAS, and BAAS in Criminology.
